Feedback

My school report always said "Alison would do very well if she focused on what she was suppost to be doing rather than what everyone else was doing". That little sentence hit every report card from 5yrs to 17yrs & I have to say that not a lot has changed! I am still what same may call, INQUSITIVE!

So... being inqusitive I love feedback! We get loads of fantastic feedback which is great... Loads of great stories on better health and weight loss from eatlite and also of people eating 'Well' again on eat fresh... It's just lovely and there is no better reward than to know we have made someone happier and healthier. Occasionally (rarely) we get feedback telling us what we could do better... Whilst the positive feedback is great, the messages telling us where we are letting ourselves down is great too... You're buying it and you're eating it - It is your food! So, let us know ...

Have been using eat.co.nz for 3 years now the menu is great and often changed. I don't over eat anymore. Perfect for busy people that want quality food at a fair price. Keep it up...

Love the food - really really great BUT what can we do with the delivery boxes???
Can we return them - how?
What do others do with them?
    Thanks

    • Eat Eat replied: 10:07am - 24 November 2011

Hi Louann, We know the boxes are a huge pain!

We are trialing chilled boxes. So far NOTHING keeps food as cold as the polystyrene and takes the knock on its journey from us to you... At the bottom of the FAQ there is information on what you can do with them and places in wellington and auckland you can take them for recycling. They are 100% recyclable (they are turned into under floor insulation) but not though everyday general recycling mainly because it breaks up and attaches itself to other products contaminating everything.

Hope this helps, and we are glad you are enjoying the food.

I am sorry to tell you that my latest order has disappointed me very much. It arrived on 8th November, from an order placed on 3rd November. I have tried three dishes - one of which was good - but the other two did not live up to the description. The dessert was good. It seemed to me that there has been a definite change in the quality of the dishes from those of the same name from my choice during 2010. Has the company changed hands ?? I see that the email name has changed.

      Hi Mary,

We are sorry to hear your experience is not as you remember it. I have looked up your order and note that you purchased fresh meals from the menu starting 7th November. As you have only eaten three I am assuming you have frozen them. Eating your meals from fresh (in my opinion) is far better... however frozen meals are great too as long as you defrost them first... otherwise the sauce dries up, some parts are mre cooked/heated than others and it can turn into a disaster!

Mary, it would be really helpful to know what you didn't like inparticular and what wasn't good about the meals so we can look into it.

Also we would love to know what we can do to make it right for you. It is our intention that every customer @ eat has an enjoyable experience from placing the order to licking the plate!

Feel free to give us a call on 0800 328 333
      Hear from you soon

      Alison@eat

PS: We haven't changed hands... It's still Margaret and I, although you are right. We moved from eatunlimited.co.nz to eat.co.nz... So much easier for people to remember... and NO ONE should ever forget to EAT

Obviously Mary doesnt buy enough meals. I'm looking at my fresh menu and the food wasnt cooked until the 7th November...getting it on the 8th seems like great service to me.
I love my meals from eat. I've been getting them for 18months now and I think they are fantastic. I've just eaten Morrocan Beef, the only thing wrong was I wanted to eat the plate!!!!!!!!!
    Amy

Thanks Amy... We are glad you are enjoying the meals and service. I know what you mean. Sometimes I feel my little finger skim the plate because it was so good I am just not finished yet! Then I grab a dessert... Brilliant.

Good Morning, yesterday { 14/12/11 } I rang approx 1.45pm to order for to-day 15/12/11 the lady I spoke to must have been having a bad hair day,not particularly cheerful { as per your greeting on ordering } she commented that they only had Pork and Cottage Pie left no sorry no oppologies so I placed an order accordingly,I was surprised that she could not advise me to order later or help me in some other way,I am still waiting for delivery { Time now 7.45pm ] if I knew that you could not deliver to-day I would not have ordered period cause I really needed them to-day.I do not have problems with your product in fact I endorse them, but I wonder now whether I should ring up Leighton Smith on News Talk ZB and enquire if other customers have had the same problems Regards Garry

      Hi Garry,

Please accept our apologies in regards to your experience getting in contact with the 'lovely ladies' in the office. I guess a few things which may explain a rushed approach but still not acceptable.. is that it is Christmas, we have four times more people calling and placing orders, they are placing orders to cover them for the holiday period. In addition we are tracking packages across the country as the courier times are delayed due this very busy time of year.

As a customer who has placed several orders before I guess that we assumed you knew your delivery would arrive on the Friday and not next day as you can called past the cut off time. Although taking time to explain this would have been helpful regardless of if you are a first time customer or one of our regulars who calls every week.

I am glad you enjoy and like our product... thats the main thing although like anyone... us girls can get abit flustered and have 'bad hair' days.. although any real bad hair day normally gets unleashed on the poor husbands when we get home... so spare a thought for them!

If you want to call Leighton - then feel free... Maybe someone called after you and got the same lady with the bad hair or maybe she got the brush out and tidied herself up abit and took a few deep breaths.

I hope your next experience is a better one - I am sure it will be.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas

From the Lovely (unless having a bad hair day) ladies in the office.

      Hi Trish,

We are really glad you enjoyed your Salmon meal... we had five left over at xmas and I managed to take one home and I enjoyed mine too. Sadly I lost out obn getting a christmas cake though... I think its a sign that I sould be eating less cake and more omega 3!

      Happy New Year to you.

  • Noelene Noelene said: 1:37pm - 9 January 2012

Just a comment that when ordering on-line and paying by direct credit I find the payment option repeated(at bottom of process for credit card only)
results in me often duplicating my order.

On a positive note it has just occurred to me to order some meals for my daughter and son-in -law with a new baby!

  • Eat Eat said: 2:50pm - 9 January 2012

    Hi Noelene,

It's doing it at our end too... I will get our web guy to look into it - Far to complicated for me to fix... reboot (the sum of my IT knowledge) doesnt work. Each order has a unique order number so as long as thats the same... then only one order has gone through!

Congratulations on the arrival of your new Grand child... meals are a great idea. More time to spend cooing rathing than cooking!

    Regards

    Eat.
